Software Engineer (h/f)

• Conceiving, developing and implementing highly relevant, object-related software modules within a joint development of a novel numerical command for advanced machining centres
• Improving and implementing algorithms to treat (e.g. generation, architecture, flow control) the large amount of data required for high resolution machining of specific micrometric geometrical structures
• Acting independently, you will develop software solutions for our production lines and eventually anticipating their necessities
• Interacting with colleagues, other engineers and technicians to ensure the user friendliness of the solutions you will develop

Profil

• A Master’s or a Ph.D. degree in exact sciences or engineering
• At least 3 to 5 years of industrial programming experience
• Good knowledge C, C++ and C# in Kotlin, Gradle and GPRC, as well as in parallel programming languages e.g. CUDA, OpenCL
• A solid competence in working with 2D/3D geometrical algorithms
• Previous experience in developing software for a numerical control
• Good programming practices, easy to read, logical and obvious code organization
• An independent and focused working method
• Motivation for a strong inter and multidisciplinary collaboration
• A personality who, thanks to a positive and enthusiastic attitude, motivates those around her/him with a catching "can do" spirit
• A proficiency level in either English, French or German
• Experience in developments for Android iOS would be an asset
• Most importantly, you are willing to learn discover and have a flexible mind-set as well as an independent work attitude
