MES Engineer

Job description

• Ensure availability and continuous improvement of MES functionalities and operation for IC Operations shopfloor management.
• Collect and formalize the needs of the shopfloors.
• Assess and propose a commonly agreed suitable solution (technically and for end user).
• Develop and implement this solution in collaboration with shopfloors and ICT Infrastructures Administrator.
• Contribute to MES upgrade project.
• Act as a second level support for MES related to daily production issues.
• Support shop floors in case of temporary modeling work heavy load (production routes evolution or creation, user interfaces, adding data collection).
• Collaborate with ICT, Logistics and Business Units teams regarding MES interfaces (with ERP, APS, etc).

Profile

• HES Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
• Software development experience.
• Previous experience with MES software.
• Strong SQL skills, a certification is a plus.
• Solution oriented with analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
• Willing to work in Agile environment.
• Softwares : Microsoft .Net, ASP .Net, C#, Java frameworks.
• MES integration experience with ERP and other software applications as well as automating shop-floor equipment (PAC).
• Experience with automated testing software.
